Integrating Training Into Bb With Atomic Learning

I arrived yesterday evening just in time to enjoy a nice dinner with Virginia Blackboard User Group (VaBUG) leader George Hoffman. It is funny, no matter how hard George & I try NOT to talk about work we always seem to end up doing it. We also had the pleasure of talking with fellow SU employee & VaBUG presenter, Don Silvus. You can see the all the presentations scheduled here.

Pondering Technology Thoughts For October

Posted on 06:49 by Unknown

Graphic From www.intelligentitnyc.com

I was reading the October 2013 (Vol.19 No. 10) issue of Redmond magazine about the Shattered Trust  (Click here to read) that some Information Technology (IT) decision makers are having now due to the revelations about the NSA's PRISM surveillance program and how many have stopped deploying enterprise cloud deployments.  Then I read this article about a

Basics Requested Before New Features

Posted on 13:44 by Unknown
I am hearing a lot of rumblings from the users I support that they want basic features or at least what they perceive as basic features to be what Blackboard Inc. adds into their Bb Learn platform. While my users do admit they would like screens to be more modernized and simplistic like Bb's competitors eventually, but what would impress them more is if Bb Inc would fix all the products known

Well today, Shenandoah University reminded me by helping Gabriella Miller meet her third Make-a-wish Foundation wish come true.

When she was nine,

Help, Blackboard Lost My Scroll Bar!

Posted on 10:19 by Unknown
Has Blackboard Learn seemed to have lost your vertical scroll bar? Faculty quickly notice this in Grade Center but it can be seen in other areas also. Stop and ask yourself: Did I recently upgrade one of my web browsers? Oh, a web browser is Firefox, Chrome, Safari, or Internet Explorer. Most likely, the answer is yes and that is why your vertical scroll bar has disappeared. So please, do not
