What Technology Do Student Really Want?

I've had the opportunity to attended some more "geeky" informational technology (IT) conferences lately, getting back to my programming roots. I also have been able to attend more educational conferences, since getting my PhD. Since I live daily in both of these worlds, I understand both areas but am totally amazed how far apart these worlds are in respect to what today's learners really want
