Bb'ers Beignets & Coffee in NOLA

If your going to Blackboard World in NOLA this July, I am sure you will be having beignets at least once. The word Beignet (pronounced Ben YAY with the accent on the second syllable) is French for "fried dough". They are post commonly served with confectioner's sugar on top, but can also be served with fillings such as maple or fruit preserves. Beignets were introduced in NOLA by the Acadians
